After receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Washington University in Saint Louis, Rachel moved to New York City where she worked on brand development for the offline (print) design department at The Knot. While there she helped establish the aesthetic and templates for The Knot Wedding Gowns magazine as well as the branding for The Knot Registry and re-branding of The Knot Weddingpages magazine. While living in the city, Rachel also worked at various design firms creating, developing and managing diamond and luxury good brands in conjunction with their marketing programs and consumer presence. Some of these brands include Modern Love, DDM and Luxury Goods at Sam's Club.
In 2007 Rachel moved to Santa Monica and started 'rachel kashon Graphic Design' where she pursued brand development for companies like Bain Capital Ventures and HUM Nutrition. A few years later while continuing to persue her rkGD client work, Rachel created and launched Lupa & Pepi — a consumer brand that specializes in personalized papergoods and party decor. When she's not designing, Rachel can be found cooking pasta, enjoying a bike ride with her husband and dog Rocco or playing bocce by the beach.
